multiSUB™ Maxi is primarily designed for optimal resolution of a high number of samples such as in clone screening or from PCR.
multiSUB™ Maxi enables high-resolution separations over longer run times. The sizes of the gel carriers are standard sizes for blotting. It thus allows easy sample transfer to a membrane for further analysis. Four gel carrier sizes are available: 20 x 10 cm, 20 x 15 cm, 20 x 20 cm and 20 x 25 cm. Multi-channel pipette compatible combs with up to 40 samples speed up loading of up to 440 samples per gel. Sample combs for 50 samples each allow a maximum sample capacity of 550 samples per gel. Gels can be poured quickly outside the gel chamber while using the multiSUB™ unit and running another gel in parallel.
